Permanent Principle Structural Engineer is required for the West
London office of this multi-disciplinary consultancy who undertake
projects throughout the UK and overseas. Their UK offices offer
professional services across the transport, property, environment and
natural resources sectors, providing services at all stages of the
development cycle; policy, planning, design, project delivery,
operations and facilities management. The successful candidate will be
Degree educated and be a Chartered Engineer. They should have at least
10 years experience in Building Structures, and must have a car and a
clean driving licence. Ambition to grow in and with the business will be

Structural Engineer – Birmingham - Ref: SE008
Structural Engineer (Chartered) is urgently required by
Structural Design Consultancy based in Birmingham. Our client is an
award winning structural design consultancy providing elegant,
sustainable, well considered designs for a wide variety of clients. They
currently have a vacancy for a Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer
with a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience.
The successful candidate will be a team leader reporting to the
directors with responsibility for a wide range of projects from
conception to completion, working in association with the architect and
other design team members in a positive creative manner. They should
have sound analytical and design skills and be able to use up to date
structural software packages. They will be expected to work on a wide
variety of building projects in all types of materials, including
concrete, steel, masonry, glass and aluminium employing a full range of
construction methods.
Our client undertakes projects that range in contract value from £0.25M
to £20M including schools, universities, community centres, health care
facilities, offices and private and public housing. They are situated
near the centre of Birmingham with car parking available, 10 minutes
walk from Birmingham New Street station and with all amenities close by.
