Area Sales
Manager - Ref: S042
Area Sales Manager is
urgently required to cover the Midlands, Norfolk and Suffolk area for a
leading manufacturer of zero carbon building solutions.
The ideal candidate will be bright and enthusiastic and will have had
some previous experience in either the air movement industry or at the
very least direct selling to Architects and Local Authorities, in any
event, selling products which are involved in the fabric of the
building. The duties of this Sales Manager will involve liaising between
the client, who is normally an Architect, Consultant, Consulting
Engineer, or Local Authority Engineer, and our Design Office, to take a
brief from the Architect/Consultant and then relay all the Architect’s
requirements to our Design Team. They would then want the Sales Manager
to be able to present the completed design to the Architect or
Consultant and talk it through and discuss and perhaps agree any
amendments to our design.
The majority of projects are Natural Ventilation and typically the Area
Sales Manager would be handling contracts from around £50K to £300K in
value. They would not need to be able to carry out any direct
calculations or costings themselves but any experience in the air
movement industry would be of a great advantage. Similarly with our
client’s natural daylight systems the role will require liaison between
the Architect and the client’s Design Office to produce the most
practical design.
Salary is dependent upon experience, but would be a minimum commencing
salary of £30K, but our client expects that salary to quickly rise with
thereafter regular salary reviews. Other salary benefits include company
car, comprehensive health cover and pension (available under terms).
