Manager – Glasgow - Ref: BCJ0606
With a rapidly growing
portfolio of prestigious projects throughout Scotland, our client, an
established Building Services Consultancy of 100+ staff has an immediate
requirement for an experienced qualified Project Manager to operate at
business ‘Partner’ level from their Glasgow office.
Our client will be responsible to the Project Director, and will be the
focal point for the client’s design delivery team. They will be
accountable for the successful operational, programme and financial
management of the project deliverables by liaison with the design team,
either in house or external, and which could be based locally or
remotely.
It is expected that applicants will be degree qualified, preferably a
member of a recognised professional institution and with at least 10-15
years minimum UK Consultancy experience. Experience in high quality
building projects is essential and that on Design and Build projects
additionally beneficial.
Capable of thinking ‘outside the box’ candidates should be a team
leader, a skilled communicator and have the motivational skills, drive
and personal commitment to work to tight deadlines while under pressure.
The overall objective is to create and maintain a lasting relationship
with the client by delivering on time, to the appropriate quality and to
the project and commission budget.
Suitable applicants should have an appropriate degree and preferably a
member of an appropriately recognised institution Salary is negotiable
according to experience and qualifications but includes non-contributory
