Having recently secured a
number of large forthcoming projects, our client, a very successful
Project Management / Building Contractor based in the Croydon area, but
operating throughout London and the Home Counties, currently seeks a
Project Manager who is fluent in French (both verbally and written) for
forthcoming projects.
The ideal candidate will possess technical building qualification (HND
/BSc) and a high level of building and engineering knowledge, including
insitu concrete and pre-cast concrete construction processes and have a
demonstrable track record in the management of large building schemes in
locations where tradesmen skills are limited. Ideally, the successful
candidate will have the ability to plan and program work effectively,
build strong relations with the client and his representatives, manage a
large project team and work closely with the commercial team, bringing
the contract in on time, within budget and to the client’s satisfaction.
Ideally they will have significant previous UK experience working for an
established contractor / project management company, be fluent in
French, will have experience of working alongside Engineers and Team
Members from other countries and have gained exposure to managing
projects in a broad range of locations. The ideal candidate will have
demonstrable skills of managing large new build projects and possess the
relevant drive and enthusiasm to take on this demanding, yet rewarding
role.

years. Our client is now looking to recruit a Technical Coordinator to
join their team based in Swindon. With an aim to secure all relevant
approvals while meeting critical targets, the successful candidate will
be responsible for co-ordinating the work of design and technical
consultants; discharging planning; ensuring services are connected; and
managing architects and engineers to enable their commercial team to go
out to tender. From land acquisition to site completion, the successful
candidate must be fully conversant with the process of private house
building.
Along with outstanding organisational and motivational skills, they must
be technically proficient proven experience in the house building
industry, preferably within an architectural field.
