Design Consultancy, is urgently seeking an experienced Mechanical Design
Engineer for their Central London office. Our client is a large
specialist building services consultancy who are currently working on a
number of exciting projects across 70 countries from within 60
International offices. They are committed to staff professional growth
and development, investing heavily in training schemes accordingly.
The role of Mechanical Engineer in the London office is involved with
the provision of support to a wide range of disciplines within the
company, principally in connection with building services related
projects.
Key requirements of the role include designing Mechanical systems for
large public areas, writing specifications and reports for major
projects, managing construction activities, supervising design and
specialist consultants and contractors and acting as an advisory to
project management in respect of all construction activities including
testing and commissioning and site supervision.
The suitable candidate for this role will have successful relevant
experience in engineering disciplines, ideally with design and
construction involvement across multi-disciplinary areas. Good
background knowledge in some of the following areas would be a distinct
advantage: ventilation systems, water supplies (clean and waste), pipe
works and pumps. They should be able to communicate clearly and
effectively, be self-motivated, and have the ability to motivate others
and operate well autonomously as well as within a team.
