Intermediate or Senior Mechanical Building Services Design
Engineer urgently required by Consulting Engineers in Glasgow.
Due to an upturn in workload, out client has a vacancy with immediate
effect for an Intermediate or Senior Mechanical Building Services
Engineer in their central Glasgow office. The successful candidate will
have at least 4 years experience in design of heating ventilation and
hot and cold water services, comfort cooling and air conditioning.
Experience in condition surveys and reports, distributed gas services
(nitrogen, oxygen, helium etc) and steam systems would be an advantage.
Abilities in CYMAP and AutoCAD would also be beneficial. Willingness to
work on the candidate’s own initiative sometimes to tight timescales
after briefing is a necessary characteristic.

working history (ideally permanent positions) with experience of
building engineering services design and have suitably appropriate

Mechanical Design Engineer – Bedford - Ref: C004
Mechanical Design Engineer required for leading company in
surface water drainage systems. As part of a small highly innovative
team the successful candidate will design new products focussing on
development sin the drainage industry and state of the art technologies
and use of materials. From a brief, the successful candidate will manage
projects to fruition and deliver solutions on time and within budget.
They will work with multi-skilled teams and liaise with colleagues
across the company, with customers, and with suppliers. The ideal
candidate will be a qualified Mechanical engineer or Product Designer
with at least an HNC or HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering,
preferably with a degree. A track record of project management and
experience in working with Solidworks is essential. Knowledge of AutoCAD
and Finite Element Analysis is preferred and any experience in plastic
or composite moulding techniques is beneficial. Candidates should be
assertive, flexible, organised, and have attention to detail, plus the
ability to communicate at all levels, leading meetings, teams and
