Space Planner required for
Central Manchester Interior Design Practice. Our Client has been
established for 20+ and have built a solid and enviable reputation in
the design and creation of high-quality, commercial architecture,
workplace interiors and hospitality design.
They are a creative, dynamic and hugely successful team, with some quite
exciting opportunities in their design studio based in central
Manchester. They have recently secured a number of prestigious Interiors
projects and are currently busy in the detailed design and delivery
co-ordination of some exceptional commercial and interiors schemes.
The successful candidate will assist in their studio growth, and with an
ever increasing workload. The ability to work across boundaries on
new-build schemes as well as high spec bespoke interiors is important,
and technical, including some knowledge of current UK building and
planning regulations would offer a significant advantage. Previous
Interiors project experience, including spatial design, detailed
documentation and technical co-ordination is preferred, as the role will
cover the full life-cycle of building interiors creation.
The successful candidate should have at least 2 years of professional
experience in a design studio, and be prepared to have some involvement
in all areas of scheme creation, from concept realisation and design
development to contract administration and site co-ordination. They must
be a team player and as the Managing Director still does, 'be prepared
to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in'. AutoCAD and Photoshop
expertise is essential, and knowledge of Vectorworks would offer a
significant advantage.
