Intermediate Electrical Design
Engineer is required by a Building Services Consultancy based in
Reading. Applicants must have experience of building engineering
services design and have suitably appropriate qualifications. Main
responsibilities will be all aspects of the Design and Specification of
Electrical Building Services Installation, including surveying, quality
inspections, dealing with contractors, report writing. operation and
maintenance manuals and project control and management. The successful
candidate will be supervised by a Project Director or Senior Design
Engineer, who will be allocated on a project by project basis. Excellent

multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking to recruit an Intermediate
Building Services Electrical Engineer. Our client is a successful
multi-disciplinary consultancy with offices throughout the UK. They have
a steadily increasing workload in all fields and wish to strengthen
their team by inviting motivated and dynamic engineers to join them.
This position is ideally suited to a capable individual seeking job
satisfaction and experience on a wide range of interesting projects in
the dynamic and fast moving London market. They would consider
graduates, HND applicants or more experienced electrical engineers.
Applicants should be computer literate and competent in the use of
AutoCAD. Applicants must be capable of working with minimum supervision.
An attractive salary package is on offer including a shared apartment in
the Docklands area. The successful candidate will report directly to the
Regional Manager in charge of the London office and the Director in
charge of the Group’s Building Services Duties associated with this
position will include involvement in projects from inception to
completion, the preparation of initial electrical demand load
calculations, feasibility studies, budget costings, report writing,
lighting design and calculations, power, LV systems, fire protection,
security and IT systems etc. Site supervision will also be a key task.
