AutoCAD Technician required by
Civil and Structural Building Services Consultancy based in Manchester.
Our client has been established since 1995 and have become established
as a market leader in the manufacture of concrete products including
concrete blocks, precast stairs, and hollowcore flooring.
Due to an increase in their workload, following the securing of two new
large commercial contracts, they currently require an experienced
AutoCad Technician to join their design team.
In this role the successful candidate will be required to prepare
drawings on AutoCAD, liaise with members of the design team and provide
technical advice. The successful candidate should hold a HND+ in an
Engineering related discipline and be able to demonstrate excellent
AutoCAD capabilities. Previous Structural Design experience would offer
a significant advantage.

Structural CAD Technician
required to play a key part in the provision of CAD services in the
structures section of a London based multi-disciplinary consultancy.
The successful candidate will be involved in the preparation and
co-ordination of structural drawings from Architect’s drawings and
Building Services builders’ work requirements. If appropriate they will
be expected to liaise with the Architect’s team to assist in the
co-ordination of working details. They will also be expected to manage
and review the quality of work prepared by outsourced CAD resources.
The successful applicant will probably have an HNC in Structural
Engineering. They will have a proven ability to complete RC detailing
from engineering designs as well as being fully conversant in AutoCAD
2006. They should have good communication skills and be prepared to work
as part of a team including support of more junior staff.
